She took a minute to warm up to the idea of getting cake all over, but once she did she had a blast! She loved licking the frosting off her little fingers! Her parents were cracking up watching her go at it, and I think the consensus was the cake is delicious!
Oh boy! I have a boy in the studio! I definitely don't get as many little boys to photograph as I do girls. Boys need photos and memories just as much as girls do! I love getting newborn boys in, I have so many boy things I haven't even gotten to try yet! This little guy was so sweet and he loved being all wrapped up and cozy. The little aviator hat was made by the moms dear friend and at her request we were able to capture a great memory, and a great smile in it!. I think many new moms don't want there photos taken when they come in with their newborn, but honestly they are only that little once! It's important to capture that time and when posed with a mother or father you can really see just how small they are. I love capturing the bond between a parent and child, it really is something special.
This little girl was so wonderful! She slept great and let me play around the whole session! I was very excited when her parents wanted blues and purples for her photos. I got to play with set-ups I don't get to do very often, which is always so much fun!. She is such a little blessing and you can tell how much her parents cherish her.
I am in love with this session! This was the perfect baby so happy to model for me! I got to play all I wanted and dress her up like a little lamb for Easter! Her brothers were just as cute; and all three together, oh my gosh! Cuteness overload! This little girl is going to have a couple of sweet big brothers looking after her, she's a lucky girl!
What a fun shoot! This mama wanted diva and we gave it to her! From princess, to angel, to zebra stripes, this girl made it all look good! She slept through most of the shoot and we were able to get some great shots! The mama proudly has them hanging on her walls and in the nursery and they match the decor to a T!
Is he not adorable? Oh my goodness what a sweetie! I love those squishy cheeks! He was amazing to work with and I could have easily spent another hour playing with him lol. I don't get as many boys in the studio so when I do, it's always so fun! That lovely bench was painted by a local artist, Erin Marsh, who does most of my custom prop work here in town. And this adorable little boys parents own the Art Gallery off of Taylor street and offer lots of unique framing and art needs!
I was so lucky to get to photograph this sweet little girl. She is battling stage 3 Wilm's disease, a type of cancer. She was so much fun and so full of life you would of never of known anything was wrong with her if you met her on the street. Such a happy little girl. What a cute new family! I loved photographing them! Mom was so excited to get their pictures done and they were both so happy to have some great portrait to give to the new grandparents! You can see how cute they looked at each other and how in love they are!
Those eyes!! This was a challenging shoot for sure; baby girl was not sleepy at all, and she wanted her Momma! And what a momma she was! I love capturing that candid bond between mom and baby. It's so strong, and, raw, and beautiful. This second time mom was well equipped with all the tricks as she shushed, swaddled, and shook (gently!) baby until she finally went to sleep. This little family was so cute and sweet, it was a pleasure to photograph them!
Is he not delicious?! He sure thought those rice Krispies were! He was such a trooper and happily played along while I had a great time playing dress up! I mean really, have you ever seen such a cute reindeer? I just want to pinch those cheeks! Merry Christmas everyone!
Twins, twins, everywhere!! I got an amazing opportunity to take fall and halloween pictures of the two cutest identical twin girls and their handsome big brother. After a massive heat wave in our area it was the first freezing cold, wet, foggy, typical los osos day in a long while. Not the best when your trying to shoot babies that you want warm and snuggly, but they were troopers! It was one of the more challenging shoots I've experianced so far as we would get one in a position and happy and then the ohter would cry and vice versa. But we still got some amazing shots and we found they just needed some milk and a little nap in a pumpkin lol. This family was a dream to work with and I can't wait to do more photo shoots for them in the future!
